Family Learning - What is Happening in School - Grammar for ESOL Parents (Y3 to 6)
On this FREE online 1+2-week course (2-hour sessions), you will work with the tutor and other parents and carers to understand school education and to find out about what grammar children learn in Key Stage 2. You will:
- get an overview of the grammar part of the KS2 English curriculum
- learn about and practise word-level grammar: parts of speech, verb tenses, word formation
- learn about and practise sentence-level grammar: types of sentences according to function and according to structure
- improve your own English skills
- develop digital skills by using Zoom and Google Classroom
