Christians Against Poverty (CAP) - Guildford

CAP is a free national debt counselling charity. Guildford CAP offer a range of services such as:

Debt Help Service - the trained Debt Coaches visit each person or couple in their own home; CAP recommends a route out of debt, does all the negotiating with creditors, manages a debt repayment plan, and local volunteers support each person until the day they are debt-free.
CAP Job Club - offers practical help to identify strengths and skills, prepare a great CV and gain the tools needed to find work. Based on an eight session course, and with one-to-one support from our trained Job Coaches, they aim to provide a friendly, relaxed environment in which jobseekers can build their confidence and find work.
Money Coaching courses and Life Skills courses - teaches budgeting skills such as saving money on food, bills and how to manage money.
