Poppins’ Poppets Makaton Training (including Makaton Signing for Babies and Families)
I am a licensed Makaton Tutor and provide Makaton training workshops to parents, carers and professionals. I have over 18 years experience working within the Early Years sector, two “Outstanding” Ofsted gradings for my own Makaton Friendly setting and a degree in Children’s Learning, Development and Support. I’m always happy to help individuals and settings to use Makaton effectively in their homes and workplace. I offer Makaton Signing for Babies and Families courses (£55 per participant, total course length 6 hours) which is a great course for those with/working with children in the Early Years and gives lots of inspiration for it’s introduction using stories, songs and activities, it covers Makaton signs and symbols right up to potty training stage. I also offer taster session and training workshops for Levels 1-4 (£77 per level, per participant, total course length 7 hours) and can help your setting to become Makaton Friendly.
