Family Learning - Understanding Your Child's Secondary School for ESOL Parents
On this FREE online five-week course (2-hour sessions), you will work with the tutor and other parents and carers to learn how to support your children’s learning in secondary education. You will:
- understand British values and how they are shared with children in education
- find out about the differences between primary and secondary education
- learn ways to help your child settle in secondary school
- find out about GCSE exams and other assessments
- find out about potential next steps for your child
- practise your own English skills
- improve Digital skills by using Zoom and Google Classroom
