Introduction
This section looks at who's involved in the major home adaptations process. It includes information on who you will work with, what they'll do and who to contact at each stage.
During your major adaptations journey, you'll work with lots of different people. They will be from different organisations such as:
- Surrey County Council (SCC) Children's Social Care (Children with Disabilities (CwD) services)
- your local District or Borough (D/B) Council
- A Home Improvement Agency (HIA)
- private surveyor/architect/project manager
- specialist equipment providers
- building contractors.
