Your District/Borough (D/B) Council Grant Officer will be the main point of contact at this stage.
Your D/B council Grants Officer will:
- review the Occupational Therapist (OT) recommendations
- decide if the recommended adaptations are reasonable and practicable, and consider if they are necessary and appropriate.
- explain the Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) process, limits, amounts available and criteria
- make sure you are happy with the proposed adaptations
- check home ownership and gain your consent for the work.
