British Wireless for the Blind Fund

The British Wireless for the Blind Fund is a registered charity which provides easy to use audio equipment which has been specially designed and adapted for listeners living with sight loss. They are provided on a free loan to those who are unable to afford a specially adapted radio.

Bruce Wake Charitable Trust

Grants Available from Grant Giving Trust
The Trust was generously instigated and endowed by the late Bruce Wake who was himself wheelchair bound as a result of motor neurone disease before his untimely death in 1992 at 45 years of age. His aim was to encourage and assist the disabled to participate in and enjoy leisure pursuits.

Burview Hall Sensory Rooms

The hall has two sensory rooms providing sensory tactile areas which are particularly beneficial for children and adults with profound learning disabilities. They can be hired on an hourly basis either by groups, schools or privately.

Bustler Dial-a-Ride

Bustler Dial-a-Ride is a door-to-door transport service for residents of Woking Borough who have reduced mobility. The buses are specially adapted to cater for people with all disabilities including those using wheelchairs. Assistance dogs are welcome.

Buttercup Children's Trust

The Buttercup Children's Trust supports children (under 18 years) and their families in the UK who have a wide range of serious and terminal illnesses such as Leukaemia, Cystic Fibrosis as well as the deaf and the blind.

It can offer financial assistance towards hospital travel, respite, medical equipment, holidays, and travel expenses.

Help for children and young people in need across the UK.
You might be experiencing domestic abuse, drug or alcohol misuse, physical or mental ill-health, child behavioural issues and you are also in financial hardship.


Help might be available with:
beds and bedding for children & young people
Washing machines
Gas or electric cookers
Fridge freezers
Essential household and kitchen items
Boarding school fees

With the exception of grants for boarding school fees applications must be made through a support worker.
