Our Sensory Room is a safe and calm space for children up to the age of 11. Sensory rooms are particularly useful for babies and children with sight or hearing problems, or for children with varying degrees of attention deficiency disorders. Colourful bubble tubes, glitter balls, tactile panels and interactive sound and light panels encourage hand and eye coordination, and the development of social and language skills. A water bed and projected moving images with sounds and music promote relaxation. The Sensory Room is open at various times Monday to Friday. £1 per family for a 45 minute session.
