From Fear to Friend

Fear to Friend run free classes to help children aged 5 to 16 years old overcome their fear of dogs. From Fear to Friend, is to introduce the children to the dogs very slowly - from viewing them through a window if necessary in the first instance, to being able to relax and be in the dogs company without worrying. The children only come into contact with the dogs when they decide that they are ready to do so - they are always in control!

A parent/responsible adult must accompany their child to the lessons which run on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month from 5-6pm in Horley, Surrey. It is always up to the children to decide when they are ready to interact with the dogs, each child is different some may take longer than others - all that is expected of them is that they prepared to participate, play games, maybe eat some sweets (or fruit) – and to understand that they are in control!
