Horsell Care is a neighbourhood care scheme aimed at filling gaps in existing services for the elderly, the disabled or those who have temporary mobility problems due to illness or accidents. Volunteers help with a range of tasks such as collecting prescriptions, doing weekly or occasional shopping, providing transport for medical appointments and friendly visits.
Please call the helpline (which is an answerphone) and leave your name and telephone number for the duty volunteer to call you back to discuss your request for support.

The Daisy Garland provide support through funding Ketogenic Dietitians who work within NHS hospitals throughout the UK as well offering grants for night-time breathing monitors (SATs/Epilepsy Monitors) for use in the home. It also provides a helpline, funds DVD's and Handbooks for distribution amongst parents and professionals.
