Grafham Grange School
Grafham Grange is a day and residential school for boys (10-19 yrs.) with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties. Pupils may also have additional needs such as ASD, speech, language and communication difficulties, ADHD, and opposition defiance.
What we do:
- Our pupils and students come from varying educational backgrounds including mainstream education, other SEN providers, SEMH schools and those who have been out of education for prolonged periods of time because of phobias and exclusions.
- The staff teams work as a cohesive multidisciplinary unit to overcome barriers to learning, provide stability, consistency and the highest quality of care guidance and support to help the pupils make accelerated learning gains.
- Small class sized of no more than eight are supported by experienced, skilled subject specialist teachers and teaching assistants and a small number of residential care and social workers.
- Pupils can access elevated levels of specialist support throughout their school day, building their self-confidence and experiencing academic and social success.
- We seek to ensure that by the time that our boys leave us, they emerge as self-confident individuals able to manage their own learning and behaviour and equipped with the skills and competencies to successfully take the next steps in their lives.
