Meath School - Specialist School for children with severe and complex speech, language and communication needs (SLCN)

I CAN's Meath School is a day and residential non-maintained primary special school for up to seventy-five pupils aged 4 to 11 years, where severe and complex speech, language, and communication needs, including Asperger's Syndrome, is the primary need.

The school supports the parents/carers and families of their pupils, provides speech and language therapy, outreach, and training to other schools, facilitates academic research and provides a holistic independent assessment service for local authorities and families.

Medication Pathway

The Medication Pathway is a website funded by STOMP, which is an NHS initiative to reduce the over-medication of people with a learning disability, autism, or both.

The Challenging Behaviour Foundation have created the online tool. It helps families of people with learning disabilities and/or autism who are prescribed psychotropic medications to understand their options.
