Teach Me Too - Online SEN Resource

Teach Me Too provides FREE online resources such as videos for children aged 2-7 with Down's syndrome/ SEN. They cover Literacy, Maths, the Wider Curriculum, Exploring Language, and Language through Play.

The videos work best with adult support and use the ideas to continue learning at home or school.

Tech Angels

Tech Angels is a digital inclusion service run by Surrey Coalition of Disabled People with Action for Carers Surrey.

They provide devices, digital literacy training and confidence-boosting support to people in Surrey.

The service is aimed at people who are at the highest risk of digital exclusion; people who are Disabled, people with a long-term health condition, people with mental ill-health, carers, older people and people from Black and minoritised ethnic groups.

This service is not currently available in North West Surrey.

Thames Sailability

Small team of volunteers provide accessible boating for wheelchair users, people with reduced mobility, and those with learning challenges.

Based on the Thames and operating out of Shepperton Marina.

Our specially designed motorboat, 'Impossible Dream' takes up tp 10 passengers, including up to 3 wheelchairs.

Trips take place all year round. Most trips are for organised groups such as schools, but outings for families and social groups are also popular.

The Therapy Garden

The Therapy Garden uses the healing power of social and therapeutic horticulture to have a positive and significant impact on the lives of young people and adults facing all kinds of personal challenges. Our peaceful and supportive environment promotes wellbeing, physical exercise, social interaction, education, meaningful gardening activities, nature connectedness and horticultural training.

Our Green School programme runs three days a week and gives students and young adults, with additional education needs, the chance to gain a City and Guilds vocational qualification in horticulture. Students are referred from SEN and mainstream schools as well as transition teams.

Three Peaks Outdoor Pursuits

Barfield School has its very own award-winning outdoor pursuits department which is based on site and makes full use of the extensive grounds. Three Peaks Barfield offer Holiday Activity Camps for children in Reception to Year 8 and these are open to both pupils and non-pupils. The centre also runs Sports Courses and activity programmes for Youth and Corporate Groups. Activities include - Zip wire, Paintball Shooting, Quad Bikes, Archery, Climbing wall and more!
