Dose of Nature
Dose of Nature is a clinically led, evidence-based mental health service whose purpose is to improve the mental health and wellbeing of individuals through increased engagement with the natural world. They offer their Nature Prescriptions to people experiencing mild to medium mental health challenges from the age of 17 and up. The 8 week programme consists of a weekly meeting with a trained Dose of Nature Guide in a natural space. The Nature Guide will lead in a variety of nature engagement activities that encourage engagement of all senses and gain maximum health benefits from time spent in nature. As well as the one-to-one nature prescriptions they also run a group activity programme that provides an opportunity for connecting with peers experiencing similar struggles, have fun and learn from one another in nature.
