North Guildford Foodbank - Park Barn
The North Guildford Food Bank is a Christian Charity that provides help to those in the Guildford area that are in food crisis. In addition to providing clients with warm welcome and a food parcel, the team is also able to help with signposting other useful services and aid those in fuel crisis, who are on prepayment meters, with energy vouchers from our partner, The Fuel Bank Foundation. Anyone is welcome to drop in at the cafe regardless of if they are a current client or just passing and fancy a free drink and a chat. It is a safe space for individuals and families to share how they are doing or just an opportunity to see a friendly face. The team are very happy to deliver to clients who are medically housebound due to mental or physical health and have an excellent team of volunteer drivers who arrange this. In order to receive a food parcel from the food bank, clients will need to be referred by a local agency such as Guildford Borough Council, Home School Link Workers and Citizens Advice to mention a few. The referring agency will be able to book clients in for a session with the team and go through the food preferences with them for what can be included in the parcel.
