Lower Green Community Centre

We run a support hub including a cafe, community fridge and foodstore. We are a Warm Hub and have a Drying Room available for community use. We have a children’s play area and run a toddler group and offer parenting classes and support. The 3rd Esher Scout group are based at the Centre and we have yoga, Pilates and chair based exercise classes. The Centre is an ideal venue to hire for children’s parties and other events.

ResilientKidz

ResilientKidz therapy helps children to make sense of their thoughts and feelings, work through their worries, find healthier ways to express themselves and manage the difficulties they are experiencing at home and school.

ResilientKidz is a private practice offering individual child therapy sessions, including play therapy, life story therapy, structured therapy and 1:1 parent coaching session.

Rett UK

Traveller Education Support

Our county-wide Traveller education support team helps Traveller families find places for their children at Surrey schools. The team also works to achieve the following for children and young people from Traveller families:

  • equal and unhindered access to education
  • development and learning opportunities along with improvements in their achievements
  • support and welcome from schools and other organisations through provision of resources to them
  • an end to discrimination
  • the recognition and valuing of the culture and lifestyle of Traveller communities.

Firewise Scheme at Surrey Fire and Rescue Service

Firewise is a scheme run by Surrey Fire and Rescue Service to address firesetting behaviour in children & young people under 18. Trained Firewise Advisors visit a child/young person, usually at home or school, to help them learn the dangers of fire and potential consequences.

Anyone worried about a child or young person who is playing with fire can ask for advice or make a referral to the Firewise Scheme, including parents, carers, schools, police, social services, youth support and other professionals.

Surrey Educational Psychology Service

Educational Psychologists work collaboratively (together) through psychological consultation with children and young people, their families, and professionals to understand what is happening, develop empathy and agree effective support to enable children to thrive in their local communities.

Meath School - Specialist School for children with severe and complex speech, language and communication needs (SLCN)

I CAN's Meath School is a day and residential non-maintained primary special school for up to seventy-five pupils aged 4 to 11 years, where severe and complex speech, language, and communication needs, including Asperger's Syndrome, is the primary need.
