Kinship Kitchen
Kinship Kitchen is a South London community-based service aimed at supporting kinship carers across London and the UK. Kinship carers are people raising relatives or children within their network, who, for one reason or another, are unable to live with their parents. Kinship Kitchen offer a range of activities such as, Kinship Kitchen Teen Group, Carers Hub Webinar, Employability Programme and more!
Kinship Kitchen aims are:

Providing access to training and support around specialist topics in relation to kinship care

Reducing social isolation and improving the mental health of kinship carers

Addressing food poverty experienced by kinship families

Increased access to therapeutic support, including therapeutic parenting interventions

Enabling kinship carers to obtain catering qualifications and offer work opportunities within the catering industry

InterGenerational Mediation Surrey
Intergenerational Mediation helps young people and their families resolve disagreements through improved communication with the support of a trained mediator. Mediators operate independently of Family Services or any other agency.
Thanks to grants from Surrey County Council and other community partners Intergenerational Mediation can be offered free of charge to residents of Surrey.
Intergenerational Mediation supports constructive communication between young people, siblings, parents, guardians, carers, and other family members and helps them to find ways to improve their relationship.
We are generally able to consider cases where the young person is aged no less than 12 years old.

Moo Music Farnham and Aldershot

Moo Music is a fun, educational and interactive regular Moosical session for children aged 0 to 5 years old to enjoy with parents, grandparents and carers. Each session is based around a different theme, for example, day at the zoo, space adventure or seaside visit. Allowing the children to use a range of musical instruments and props. They especially enjoy dressing up, bouncing balls on the parachute, catching bubbles and using the light up items. Baby moo is slightly calmer, with more sensory play and canopies. In mixed moo they use more action and movement songs.

The Kelli Dixon Academy of Dance

ABC toddler groups are co-ordinated by the church for the community and surrounding area. Each group is run by our 0-3s worker, Juliet Gilbert - with some enthusiastic parents!
We hope you will find the groups relaxing, enjoyable and a lovely way to start new friendships and find support as you share your experience of bringing up a young family. Come and have a cup of coffee while your children play and get to know other children in a happy environment.
Held in the Old Rectory, next to Busbridge Church.

Our Little Roots Playgroup runs every Friday during term time from 09.00 to 10.00 in our Nursery. The group, for toddlers aged 2+, is an opportunity to come and enjoy some fantastic resources and activities organised by our Early Years specialists. These interactive sessions each week include singing, rhymes, toys and sensory play.
Meet other local parents and enjoy activities with your child which you don't need to think up or clear away!! The group is free, with light refreshments available. You are welcome to find out about Staines Prep, but equally you can come and enjoy the group without obligation.
