SEND Tutoring

SEND Tutoring provides tuition to children with special needs from qualified teachers with QTS. Face-to-face and online options are available.

SEND Tutoring provides tuition to children with special educational needs and disabilities. All of the tuition is provided by tutors who are qualified teachers who have the right experience and qualifications.

In addition, there is a second arm of SEND Tutoring that is made up of Specialists that provide advice and guidance to parents trying to make sense of existing reports, needing guidance, or wanting to apply for certain assessments and who are unsure of the process and what they are entitled to.

SEND Tutoring is designed to be a go-to service for wraparound service that helps the child as well as their family.

Primary and secondary tutors and tuition are available and tuition can start from 3/4 years old to 25 years old.

Families Thriving Together - Nurturing Programme

Tuesdays for 10 weeks starting 21 January 2025

Children are rewarding, stimulating and fun, but looking after them can be stressful and challenging. The Nurturing Programme helps deal with those challenges so that you can have a calmer, happier life. A tried and tested programme, it helps us think about what we do, why we do it and how it makes us feel.

What does it cover?

Over the 10-week Programme, you will look at lots of different topics, including: Understanding why children behave as they do, Recognising the feelings behind behaviour (ours and theirs), Exploring different approaches to discipline, Finding ways to develop co-operation and self-discipline in children, Learning the importance of looking after ourselves.

For parents/carers with children of any ages.

Fully funded for those living in the Elmbridge Borough.

ParkPlay - Hurst Green

Every Saturday morning from 9:30am to 11:30am

ParkPlay is a two-hour long play session of fun and games for everyone starting at 9:30am every Saturday morning.

ParkPlay welcomes everyone, parents, grandparents, carers and kids (NO dogs) so turn up for free games, activities and fun with your local community.

You will need to register before you attend any ParkPlay sessions.

Duchenne Family Support Group (DFSG)

Mustard Seed Autism Trust

Mustard Seed provides sensory, motor, social, communication and emotional well-being support to autistic children and their families. A small team of occupational therapists and specialist teachers deliver 1-1 or small group work, parent workshops and sibling support groups.
