Waverley Family Centre - Sensory Stay and Play
Tuesdays
A weekly stay and play session for children with additional needs and the adults that care for them.
Sessions will include:
- Sensory activities.
- Song time.
- Bubbles.
- Advice from visiting professionals.
- Support from the Early Support and Family Centre teams.
- The chance to meet with other parent/ carers

Private Fostering in Surrey
Private fostering is when a child or young person aged under 16 (or under 18 if they are disabled), is cared for and provided with accommodation for 28 days or more by an adult who is not a close relative. (A close relative is an aunt, uncle, step-parent, grandparent or sibling, but not a cousin, great aunt/uncle or a family friend). Any parent, carer or professional who is aware of a private fostering arrangement is legally required to inform the local authority and should contact the appropriate children's services team.

Royal National Children's Springboard Foundation
Royal National Children’s Springboard Foundation is a charity giving life-transforming opportunities to disadvantaged and vulnerable children. They work with over a hundred state boarding and independent schools to widen access to their fully-funded bursary places for children who most need access to the opportunities these provide.
They have supported children who have experienced parental death, abuse, or sibling/parent disability and are at the edge of care, others have come from loving and supportive environments but have some measure of social deprivation. They also support Looked After Children through their work with local authorities.

SEND Families Coffee and Play
A safe and non-judgmental space for parents and children with additional needs. Parents can come with or without their children (depending on whether they are at school or pre-school or not). You'll find a warm drink, snacks and a listening ear. A place to make friends and meet other families who have children with additional needs who 'get it'. Sometimes we may have guests from relevant organisations coming to the group. We also have a WhatsApp group you can join if you wish- where people share ideas and resources and arrange their own meet-ups.

We now have places available for countryside play sessions specifically designed for young people that can thrive in small groups and may have SEND. Ambitious about Autism is a charity for children and young people with autism. They provide services, raise awareness and understanding, and campaign for change. Through Treehouse School and Ambitious Support, they offer specialist education and support.
