Surrey Family Support Programme (SFSP) - Reigate & Banstead

The Family Support Programme helps families experiencing a range of interwoven problems that are impacting on their family wellbeing. Families will usually be experiencing two or more of the following problems: mental or physical ill health, unemployment, historical or present domestic abuse, involvement in crime or anti-social behaviour, low attendance at school and behavioural problems.

The programme offers an opportunity for all statutory and voluntary agencies in Surrey that work with families to work together in a collaborative way around a family's needs.

Surrey Fire and Rescue Service offer fire safety sessions to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) schools throughout the year. In collaboration with teachers, they design and deliver tailored sessions that are accessible, inclusive, interactive and meet the needs of pupils. Surrey Heath Youth Council (SHYC)

Who can join? Anyone aged 11 to 18 (school years 7 to 13) who lives or goes to school in Surrey Heath can apply to join the SHYC. The Youth Council needs people with all sorts of skills such as organising, fund-raising, IT, web, graphics and design, video, running meetings and presenting. It’s also a wonderful way to learn some of these skills. SHYC is committed to achieving equality and fairness. We welcome applications from all sections of the community, particularly from underrepresented groups.
