The Therapy Garden
The Therapy Garden uses the healing power of social and therapeutic horticulture to have a positive and significant impact on the lives of young people and adults facing all kinds of personal challenges. Our peaceful and supportive environment promotes wellbeing, physical exercise, social interaction, education, meaningful gardening activities, nature connectedness and horticultural training.
Our Green School programme runs three days a week and gives students and young adults, with additional education needs, the chance to gain a City and Guilds vocational qualification in horticulture. Students are referred from SEN and mainstream schools as well as transition teams.

Time to talk volunteering
One in five people in the UK feel lonely and the best way to combat this is to talk with someone.
We need volunteers of all ages to support lonely people in Surrey Heath affected by different life events such as bereavement, moving house, having a baby or starting university. We provide all the volunteer training so you won't need specific qualifications or education.
You will just need the same skills you would bring to any friendship: an ability to listen, friendliness, sharing stories, reliability, a sense of humour, desire to help others.
Our Time to Talk volunteers make a real difference to local people's lives.
