Walton & Hersham Foodbank

They provide a minimum of three days emergency food and support to people experiencing crisis.

Care professionals such as doctors, health visitors, social workers, Citizens Advice Bureau staff, welfare officers, the police and probation officers amongst others can give foodbank vouchers to those in need.

They have two distribution centres:

  • Wednesdays 10-12 - St Peters Church, Burwood Road, Hersham KT12 4AA
  • Thursdays and Fridays - St Johns Church, The Furrows (off Ambleside), Walton on Thames, Surrey KT12 3JQ

Walton on Thames Repair Cafe

Every second Saturday morning and fourth Wednesday afternoon of each month.

The repairer team is a group of volunteers who are able to help you try to fix a huge range of household items for free such as: lamps, toasters, bikes, kettles, garden tools, clothing, toys, luggage, small items of furniture etc whilst their ‘Crafters Corner’ can help with knitting, crochet and crafting problems. The Cafe runs on the second Saturday morning and fourth Wednesday afternoon of each month. Pre-book items for the Saturday Cafe or drop in to the Wednesday afternoon one. They welcome donations to support our running costs.
