Community Point offers young people and adults a way to connect with their local communities.

Drop in to the Community Hub in Guildford or call our Community Connectors who take time to help find what you are looking for. It could be signposting, researching activities of interest in the area or giving a bit more support if you’re struggling to get involved. Community Point is free to use for anyone living in the Guildford and Waverley area.

Surrey Aquanauts

Surrey Aquanauts is one of the 1600 or so branches of the British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC); these branches are mainly in the UK, but can also be found throughout the world.

With a membership in excess of 55,000, BSAC is the largest diving club in the world. Surrey Aquanauts offer a friendly, competent and safety-oriented approach to dive training and dive trips in both the UK and abroad.

Surrey Archaeological Society

Surrey Archaeological Society is for those interested in finding out more about Surrey’s past. Members help with historic landscape surveys and excavations, attend lectures and conferences as well as learn about post-excavation work. Membership also includes access to an archaeological lending library in the South East and its bi-monthly Bulletin. For people aged 16 and over.

Surrey Army Cadet Force Corps of Drums and Band

The Surrey Army Cadet Force have a full Military Marching Band welcoming beginners and experienced players. The band is always on the lookout for both skilled and novice musicians of brass, percussion and reed instruments. The Corps of Drums offer full tuition and are planning to offer training for the Guildhall music exams in the Snare Drum, B Flat Flute and Bell-lyre.
