The Hereditary Spastic Paraplegic Support Group is a registered charity which aims to assist those people diagnosed with Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia (also known as Familial Spastic Paraparesis).

The Hereditary Spastic Paraplegic Support Group provides a telephone and email helpline offering support to members, as well as providing information through publications, leaflets and newsletters. It provides grants to teams researching aspects of the condition and publishes information about HSP and the Group to its members.

Hersham Foodbank

Trussell Trust foodbanks provide a minimum of three days emergency food and support to people experiencing crisis.

Care professionals such as doctors, health visitors, social workers, Citizens Advice Bureau staff, welfare officers, the police and probation officers amongst others can give foodbank vouchers to those in need.
