SWAAY is a specialist provider of care for boys and young males who have displayed sexually harmful behaviour. Based in Thames Valley, Swaay work with 10 to 21-year-olds who have engaged in inappropriate sexual behaviour and who have often suffered multiple forms of abuse themselves.

Talisman Charitable Trust

The Talisman Charitable Trust help individuals in the UK who are on a low income and are “going short". Grants are given to support education, health, housing, disablement, or disability. Applications should be made on behalf of individuals by a local authority, another charity, or a non-profit organisation, such as the Citizens’ Advice Bureau. The charity is run by a small number of people and has a small fund.

Thames Ditton Foodbank

Every day people in the UK go hungry for reasons ranging from redundancy to receiving an unexpected bill on a low income. Working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK, Trussell Trust foodbanks provide a minimum of three days emergency food and support to people experiencing crisis. They work with wide range of care professionals such as doctors, health visitors, social workers and police to identify people in crisis and issue them with a foodbank voucher.

The Therapy Garden

The Therapy Garden uses the healing power of social and therapeutic horticulture to have a positive and significant impact on the lives of young people and adults facing all kinds of personal challenges. Our peaceful and supportive environment promotes wellbeing, physical exercise, social interaction, education, meaningful gardening activities, nature connectedness and horticultural training.

Our Green School programme runs three days a week and gives students and young adults, with additional education needs, the chance to gain a City and Guilds vocational qualification in horticulture. Students are referred from SEN and mainstream schools as well as transition teams.

Transform Housing and Support

Transform Housing & Support is a local charity who provide housing and support services to homeless and vulnerable people. Transform runs some larger hostels with 24-hour staffing for young people with higher support needs. They also provide smaller shared houses, with a live-in resident volunteer on hand to give additional support. Self-contained flats are available for more independent clients with lower support needs. Transform offers housing for young people in: Elmbridge, Guildford, Reigate, Runnymede, Spelthorne and Woking.
