Epsom and St. Helier Maternity Voices

Epsom and St Helier Maternity Voices Partnership (MVP) is an independent group that works to improve maternity services in the area.

They are made up of:

• NHS professionals
• Groups that support pregnant women and new parents (such as NCT and local family & children’s centre’s)
• Mums, dads, parents, and carers who’ve used Epsom and St Helier Maternity Services in the last five years.

They meet six times a year to discuss how their maternity services are developing at Epsom and St Helier and work collaboratively on projects in-between meetings.

Asperger's Support Group

A free support group for parents and carers of children and young people with Asperger's Syndrome.

The group meets once a month to support anyone looking after someone with Asperger syndrome. It arranges trips for the children accompanied by their parent or carer. It organises evening meals three times a year as a social event. It can attend meetings with social services or education for support.

Reach is a registered charity which supports parents, children and young people who are affected by Upper Limb Deficiency. It provides advice and guidance to parents as well as providing a support group run by families who have had similar experiences.

Winston's Wish

Winston’s Wish has a national helpline which is free to call on 08088 020 021 and offers therapeutic advice following a bereavement. The helpline provides bereavement support for parents, carers and professionals who are looking for childhood bereavement advice and support.

Face to face support is available in Hove, so families in Surrey would need to be able to travel to access this support.
