Sky Full of Stars offers Counselling and Psychotherapy to children, young people and adults in a safe, compassionate environment. With children we work with Play as this is children's principle and easiest form of communication. Therapy through play allows your child to explore their world, and their place within it, at their own pace. Through play, past and current issues impacting your child can be explored and worked through. Therapy through play helps children address anxiety and other emotionally overwhelming feelings without needing words to express their feelings. The specially designed therapy room is equipped with a wide variety of toys, games, role play and creative materials to allow your child to express themselves in different ways. Offering children acceptance, genuineness, care, trust, respect and honesty, with appropriate boundaries allows them to: Be more aware of their feelings and the feelings of others Develop an ability to describe their feelings Feel more confident to express difficult feelings Develop more socially appropriate behaviour If you are looking for counselling or psychotherapy for your child and want to share without fear of judgement then please get in touch. 20-minute, introductory calls or visit are offered free of charge for you to discuss your child and the issues you feel they need help and support with.

Skylarks
Skylarks is an independent charity that provides activities and therapies for children with disabilities and additional needs. They also support and provide therapies, courses and information for the whole family.
You do not need a diagnosis or referral to join and, despite being based in Richmond upon Thames, there are no geographical limitations for members. Anyone from anywhere is welcome! As well as in person support, they also offer online activities held by Zoom for the whole family.
A few of the activities they offer include hydrotherapy, counselling, 1:1 yoga sessions, osteopathy appointments, life skill courses and riding for the disabled.

A free helpline that is run by trained sleep advisors, many of whom are specialists in working with SEND. They can talk to young people directly, or parents (they can also talk to adults, including older people, about their sleep issues).
