Parent Info

Parent Info provides high quality information to parents and carers about their children's wellbeing and resilience. Schools can host the content on their own website and use it in any other ways (in letters to parents etc) that they want.

This service is free and ranges across a wide range of subject matter, from difficult topics about sex, relationships and the internet or body image and peer pressure to broader parenting topics like ‘how much sleep do teenagers need?’

In line with CEOP’s Thinkuknow programme, some of the content covers internet safety, but it all starts from the assumption that young people make little distinction between their online and offline lives and the issues for parents are often the same. The aim is to help parents help their children be discriminating, web-literate and resilient.

2houses

2houses provides a service to help separated parents communicate and become organised for the wellbeing of their children.

This is a paid for subscription fee service that includes functions such as a co-parenting calendar, custody journal and shared management of expenses tools.

Peer run support group, promoting adult and children's well-being. Run by parents, for parents.

Are you a parent/carer who is finding things challenging? Would you like to chat with other people who are experiencing similar issues? Then join us for a coffee and a netter in a safe and welcoming setting. Taking place weekly on a Monday from 9:30am to 11:30am.

Runnymede Family Centre - Addlestone Young People and Family Centre (YPFC)

Family centres help families with all aspects of family life. Your local family centre will support you with parenting and relationship challenges and will help you to grow in confidence so you can manage any future difficulties. The aim of the family centre is to help families build their own resilience and support network.

Our Family Support Team work across the whole of Runnymede Borough, providing support to families with children aged 0-11 years old.

We offer a variety of courses providing support with all aspects of family life as well as sessions for families with children with special educational needs and disabilities.

Swimming Sessions at Higgins Aquatics Grand Avenue

Swimming lessons at Grand Avenue Primary School, Surbiton are great for beginners and advanced swimmers. We are open throughout the year and in the holiday and half-term breaks.
